This is a very pleasant scent; peachy apples, without being too sweet. I think it veers to the feminine side, and can't imagine wearing it. But if you like fruity smells, you could do much, much worse.

I agree with the descriptions from the positive comments. Brandy is friendly & easy to wear. It makes me happy. I love it.

The story behind Brandy is so sweet, like the perfume itself. As others have stated, apples, hay, spices, smoking pipes, autumn carriage rides, a small flask of (brandy) to warm you up, snuggles under tartan throws, a horse's gentle eyes. Beautiful scent.

Brandy is a cheerful and simple fruity blend of apple brandy garnished with cinnamon. It's not earth-shattering or A-grade material, but it sure is charming and would work great as an air freshener.

The company was nice enough to send me a sample, and I don't think I can do it justice. The package says apple, peach and herbs. I don't smells anything sweet or peachy. I do not smell a brandy or boozy note. I do not smell any cinnamon or any warm types of spices. To me, it smells like an apple pipe tobacco tonic with herbs--maybe mint, sage, hay? (I could also say it smells a little like Tazo apple tea--the one in the green packaging). This is very refreshing and has a spa or aromatherapy feel to it, but in no way smells like a room fragrance. It is really interesting and extremely pleasant and addictive. I find it truly unisex, not tipping in either direction. Despite this light herbal/tea feel, this lingers for quite a while. I'm very impressed--may need to buy this.

Apples and spices. I like it. Remenisent of Caron's L'Anarchiste minus the cinnamon-like notes. Quite nice!

Fruity and spicy–apple with a little peach, and spices with a predominant cinnamon. To me it doesn't smell as much like an apple orchard as it does a working cider house in the cool, crisp autumn. And the liquor or liqueur note?–hard cider? brandy? Maybe an idealized sweet version of brandy. Whatever the alcohol note is, it's addictive and satisfying, and it begs comparison with Le Dandy. Brandy is much sweeter (fruitier–peachier) than Le Dandy, but there's a commonality in the spice notes: Le Dandy is drier and stronger in spices, but the spices themselves are similar. Brandy is quite sweet, Le Dandy is not nearly so. Both of the fragrances are rather linear. Both of them are beautifully warm and rich scents, and both are definite “thumbs up” winners. The main differences are the sweetness and the longevity–Le Dandy has incredible lasting power, Brandy doesn't. While Brandy is dandy, I prefer the one and only Le Dandy.

A wonderful apple brandy, voluptuous and sweet, and lightly aromatic. Warming, comforting, pleasant and friendly. It likes skin and being with people. It's not over-heavy or cloying as one might fear - it has some lightness and joie de vivre. On first sampling, I compared this to the boozy Idole de Lubin, and warming Un Cedre or Splash Forte, but ended up feeling it shared most the spirit of Theorema - it has the same sociable, golden feel. Not as vivacious as Theorema, more mellow and warm, but both give a feeling of friendliness.

I just got a sample vial of this and dident expect to be very impressed. I am more of a vanilla/oriental lover. But I put it on and was wowed! It has apple and peach as the top notes, very fruity but not really sweet, somehow. It felt light and I dident expect it to last. BUt it has been about seven hours and I keep sticking my nose in my shirt to get a big whiff. It is still going strong. I promised myself I'd take a break from perfume buying- but I have got to get this one. It reminds me of that scene from Anne of Green Gables- where she rides through the apple orchard and it is covered in white, fragrance apple blossoms. It must have smelled just like "Brandy". Wonderful!!
