This has an extremely interesting play between sweet and smoky, and I really enjoy it. I get some leathery notes once it starts to get into the heart, and the smoke base carries right throughout the development. The drydown to the base is sweet incense and smoke on me. So this is sweet, but simultaneously dark and smoky, all at the same time. Intriguing.

On the downside, this, like most Tom Ford perfume, is quite overpriced, and I'm not convinced it's worth it. This is definitely not a good blind buy, even if you think you'll like it. Get a sample or go to a shop and test it before investing the considerable money into this little bottle of fragrance.

Best Tom Ford cherry yet. Full bottle likely to end up in my collection. Repeat sampling is dragging me in.

For personal fun and enjoyment. You probably don’t want to go around smelling like atomic cherries very often. Really hits the spot if cherry is your thing.

A decent cherry note with incense and a dark wood note. This one is the best of the three IMO (the other two being Electric Cherry and Lost Cherry), but C'mon overkill is an understatement. Decent fragrance, but the price is not worth it IMO.

This fragrance presents a more complex and intriguing aroma than Electric Cherry, showcasing woody and leathery facets that add depth and density to the composition. However, despite these qualities, the absence of any smoky notes leaves the scent somewhat lacking in character. Furthermore, the exorbitant price tag makes it difficult to justify purchasing, especially when considering the relatively unremarkable scent profile. While this fragrance may appeal to a more mainstream audience, its pricing renders it difficult to recommend to fragrance enthusiasts. Thus, while the scent itself is decent, it receives a thumbs down due to its unjustifiable cost.

When the accountants are looking the other way, can someone please pull the plug on the TF Private Blends line?

An opportunistic attempt to cash in on the success of Lost Cherry. What is there to say about Cherry Smoke? The opening is pleasant enough. Syrupy macerated dark cherries and expensive leather drying down in a linear fashion to an abstract sweetness and synthetic oud smoke before finishing on banal white musks. It’s not horrific, it’s never scratchy or densely flat - but this is damning praise for a house that was once a vanguard in the industry. Neutral only because compared with Electric Cherry, an entirely unnecessary fruity floral, Cherry Smoke is the better scent. Yours for an eye-watering CA$480/50 ml.
