Décou-Vert
Laboratorio Olfattivo (2012)

Bright whitish floral (hedione prominent clean jasmine and equally freshened up lily of the valley) with green accents and a hint of lemon. Sunny, resembling a scented splash, competent, good for warm weather – but I've come across this kind of thing so often now that I find it difficult to raise a lasting flicker of interest.

I will give it a very mild thumbs up for being green! Beginnings of lily of the valley and leaves, which by the way certainly include tomato leaf. Surprised that no one has picked up on that. At times a bit like Mugler Cologne, at times a bit like Sisley Eau de Campagne. That is the best part. Then it settles into a predictable and too-sweet and generic musk - wood chord.

The initial impression is green, green, green -- broken leaves and stems -- and lily, with a prominent musk undercurrent right from the opening. Unfortunately for me, this does not develop further, except that the musk -- my least favorite note -- becomes more insistent. This is a common problem for me: any hint of musk predominates, when I would much prefer a further unfolding of the green and floral notes. Sillage is moderate, as is longevity.

Decou-vert appears to be made from high-quality ingredients, but it lacks the well-defined architecture of Chanel No. 19 and other iconic green scents. It becomes an increasingly soft, blurred green musky floral, mildly acceptable for spring/summer wear, but unremarkable in the end.

Green and fresh without being citrusy. It's perfect for really (i mean over 40°c) hot summer days and the drydown is cozy after sunset.
The flowery notes are undemanding and pleasantly lingering.
It might not smell unique at first but I rarely found such a fresh and comforting scent to wear.
A dive into a green garden, where you can sniff the early blooms during the day and relax among scented woods at night.
This was a gift from my fiancee, blind buy, an easy one thanks to the armony of Décou-vert bouquet.
Longevity is good (but i do not expect much from this kind of scents).

Beautiful scent, really bright, clean, fresh, well-crafted and balanced. An invigorating and sunny floral start, much "white" in fact, which slowly opens up to a luminous and elegant drydown. Plenty of other scents more or less similar to this one, but still it's nice.
