I just got this as a tester and I really love it! Although admittedly I am new to anything with a tobacco scent in it. It doesn't last long at all / have much sillage and it's very feint after several hours. I'd like to explore other scents w/ tobacco to see how they compare.

Perfumey with too much sandalwood. Rich, warm and powdery from the tobacco, smooth with the honey, but more perfumey than I like. Lovely for all that, but also didn’t last the night. Maybe 5 hours. And I don’t like that bright sandalwood sillage. Oh, well, it’s the main note, so I was warned. If you like sandalwood, this is for you.

Polite amber, herbal and boozy, with many facets held in a good balance over a comforting vanilla base. The important thing about this one is that none of the elements at play here are expressed with a thump – so, this is a perfume that people who don't usually like honey or booze (to mention two often polarizing accents) could still consider as an option. There's light, fresh and even slightly camphoraceous lavender singing gently against a restrained chorus of resins. The floral notes – rose and jasmine – are burnished by a dab of bergamot and merge successfully with the honey. There have got to be woods in the mix, natch, and they too are evident as subtle but steady backing to the other notes. To offer a visual analogy, Eau My Soul brings to mind one of those amazing deep sea creatures that coruscate with ever-shifting dots of coloured light so that the eye never alights on one spot, but with the unity of the thing never in question. However, there is one thing wrong with that comparison – there's nothing flashy about Eau My Soul. Plenty that is deeply satisfying.

I've got to stop testing these 4-thousand-something Tuesday perfumes - I fall in love with too many of them...

Honeyed. Amber-sweet. Slight hippie incense. Smooth and warm. Cognac note is divine. Smoky notes. The top notes immediately merged with the heart notes. Whole thing starts off as a "honeyed", Natural smelling, sweet perfume. Not a gourmand sweet, mind you. All the above elements seem to hover, float, suspend, for a time.

Then more notes reveal themselves: orris, myrrh, vanilla, musk, etc. This fragrance always stays its course as an "amberish" oriental thing. If you've read my reviews you know I'm a whore, [ahem,] big fan for orientals.

Later, I get my favorite staying-power notes of patchouli, more amber, more vanilla, and more musk. And yes, this is long-lasting.

This is quite a remarkable fragrance.
Its cozy, rich and warm smells somewhat sweet and aromatics. Its a beautiful blend of all the different notes, they don't mix together rather then entire time you wear this fragrance you keep discovering the different notes. But they all play nicely together and create a beautiful and ethereal experience.

On my skin the notes that are the most pronounced are the sandalwood, vetiver and benzoin with a little bit of incense.
