Horizon Extreme
Davidoff (2017)

There's a chilled evergreen tree scent that feels kinda '80-'90s mature to me, but I like the ginger-grapefruit warm and spicy opening mixed with the powdery, sweet, woody-amber drydown. Reminds me of a classic men's deodorant but also has enough spice and warmth to be more of a nighttime scent than day-appropriate.

Soft projection and decent longevity, maybe 6-7 hours.

This fragrance basically smells like its pyramid looks, but a little bit worse. Opening with ginger, rosemary, grapefruit, in that order. These sit on the leather and nutmeg. The Polo Oud comparison is not that far off, but that smells much superior. There is something a little plastic-y about this. Not gross, and I actually find the rosemary to be an interesting addition to this type of fragrance in a good way. Performance, eh, not good. Neutral.

Gorgeous scent, mis-marketed.
If you've been waiting for a Westernized oud from Davidoff, this is it.
Reminds of Ralph Lauren's Supreme Oud. In fact they could be flankers of each other.

Typical Olivier Cresp style of keeping you guessing what you are smelling. There is a funk note that will put many off. Not me.

Worth a sniff, full bottle worthy.
