Infusion de Tubéreuse fragrance notes
- tuberose, petitgrain, blood orange, dynamone

The tuberose is indeed the heart and soul of this composition. A gentle, bright, and positive tuberose, without any waxiness on me. The brightness is indubitably enhanced by a dash of petitgrain and by whiffs of mandarine with some blood orange, but the tuberose, in all its delicateness, remains in the foreground.
Later on fleeting emanations of woods and gentle white pepper make a brief appearance towards the end, probably courtesy of the dynamone, but the tuberose lingers until the end.
I get moderate sillage, good projection, and, unexpected in this gentle blend, an excellent ten hours of longevity on my skin.
This summery floral scent is full if surprises: a maybe a bit linear, but quite intelligent and subtle take on the tuberose, full of quality and crystalline elegance, yet performing very well. 3.5/5

I know the tuberose flower for its powerful fragrance. It is a powerhouse of a flower scent if there ever was one. In Mexico I lived in a colonia called Jardin. The streets were named for flowers, I lived on Calle Rosas and from my home I could smell the powerful aroma of cultured tuberoses which were three blocks away on Calle Nardo.
Prada's Infusion de Tubereuse is, of course, an infusion, which involves the steeping of the flower petals in a liquid or moist agent to remove and make use of the volatile oils of the flower. It is probably the gentlest way to retrieve the aromatic oils from the flower, and the result of the gentility is a delicate version of the powerful tuberose. The pyramid of Infusion de Tubereuse mentions petit grain and blood orange… I get citrus but I can't separate out the individual citrus notes in this scent the citrus mix, too, is presented in a subdued form. I get the soft, denatured tuberose, perhaps freshened a bit by the citrus. I do get a residual resin from the labdanum, but it is very discreet. Mostly what I'm smelling here is a soft, warm, gentle solofleur tuberose infusion.
Infusion de Tubereuse is linear, translucent, and warm. It has soft sillage and below average longevity… exactly what one would expect from an infusion. I like its clarity and warmth very much and I admire its refined subtlety.

A beautifully subtle fragrance, perfect for wearing during the day in the warmer months. A sophisticated scent with none of the cloying sweetness traditionally associated with heady white blooms, like tubereuse.
The perfume smells very powdery and creamy, with subtle licks of petitgrain, blood-orange and some green notes all being married together with a carefully balanced (and not over-powering) tubereuse.
It is never an obvious scent and I never feel that I have put too much on (no matter how much I apply) and yet it has staying power that I wouldn't have expected from such a quiet scent.
Such a shame that it's limited edition!
