King of Seduction

King of Seduction is one of my more recent blind-buys. And I am happy about it. I heard it was that this and its flanker King of Seduction Absolute were were fairly close to Paco Rabanne Invictus, a personal favorite of mine. Now I can say I found my non-Dollar Store Invictus smelling fragrance (don't worry Victory Squadron, it's not a total Simply Put Scents kick-to-the-curb, more like a I'll use you for vacations and when I goto football games.) That said it smells like its own thing at the same time due to its pineapple scent. I am not sure how close to Creed Aventus it is (not willing to smell a fragrance I will never ever buy) but perhaps this is what Aventus and Invictus would have if it had an offspring. The pineapple sets it apart from most fragrances since it is not common, well besides Aventus. It last pretty long on me, about a work-day (7+ hours) and a little more. It's alright sillage wise at about Invictus level but the scent, price-point and the longevity are what make this fragrance great. It may be synthetic and 1 Million like to some but honestly in the semi-aquatic aromatic modern male scene, this is a great bargain fragrance and should not really be overlooked even if it is from a celebrity line.

I rate this an 8.9 out of 10, mainly due to the only-downside being the sillage.

This is basically a fresh take on Seduction in Black in the style of Invictus. Actually, this smells better than Invictus and is a much better buy. I'm not a big fan of this type of fragrance, but I could see it being a great office scent and one that gets a lot of compliments. Performance is pretty much on par with most fragrances of this type and the price is fantastic. I don't like this as much as Seduction in Black, but if you want a better and less expensive alternative to Invictus than look no further.
