Do you hate perfumes? Do people around you hate perfumes?
Is perfume in general frowned upon in your work, school, family, life?
Is your nose very sensitive to smells?
Do you - or people around you - hate frilly-girly perfumes, juvenile sugarbomb-y perfumes, matronly perfumes, in-your-face vulgar perfumes, overwhelmingly floral perfumes, screechy-lemony or screechy-woody perfumes, synthetic-smelling sugarfruity perfumes, loud perfumes, 'perfumey' perfumes, and in general MOST perfumes?

Do you still want to smell GOOD in a calm, clean, unfussy, unshouty, uncomplicated and still classy, subtle and sneaky "oh, I just naturally happen to smell so good" way to people who happen to hug you?
Then think no more - this is a perfume for you.

And it really smells good - provided you can smell it.
It's subtle, soapy-clean and still warm, skin-like, it's lightly incensy and slightly balsamic scent with just a hint of pepper and light unfussy flowers. It is an ultimate skin-scent as it never shouts and only whispers. I personally would have to pour it all over my body to be able to properly smell myself, so you are in no danger to enrage others with your scent. But you'll still smell NICE to people who hug you - and to yourself when you sniff your scarf (I know you also do that, just admit it!).

Thumbs up for the actual scent when I stick my nose to my inner elbow hard enough to perceive it. Sadly, I cannot justify buying a nice perfume that even I cannot smell - I just love perfume too much for that.

After I could no longer find Blv for Women by Bvlgari, I found that Lacoste Pour Femme replaced Blv PERFECTLY! LPF smells as I remember Blv, however, seems to be stronger in its concentration. As a matter of fact, I love Lacoste Pour Femme even more than Blv for Women. Lacoste Pour Femme and Lacoste Pour Homme will always be in my wardrobe. I hope they never discontinue these two classics (fingers crossed)!

The opening is floral with a twist, with the twist being a gently spicy touch that modulates pleasantly the dominant florals - freesia and jasmine that is. The freesia comes first, and I detect touches of oleander there too; and then the jasmines moves to the fore. It is a soft jasmine with little earthiness or stem aroma.

The drydown marks the turn into the full floral fest, with a rose emerging that is a little bit bland on me but adds background colour. A hibiscus forms the backbone of the development at this stage, and is all comes together nicely. The whole has a bright-ish and clean feel to it.

The base sees a return to a touch of spice, but this time with a subtle hint of licorice, which combines with a woody note that takes over towards the end. Whilst this is not a very specific notes, a cedar impression is noticeable at times. I get a subtle and fresh powderiness with it, more an elegantly powdery character that a heave and musty boudoir-style powderiness.

I get moderate sillage, good projection and six hours of longevity on my skin.

Whilst not a hotbed of inventiveness, this spring scent, suitable for day as well as for evenings, is crafted well out of ingredients of solid quality. One of the more convincing Lacostes. 3/5.

I like it very much, so smooth and delicate. Feminine and elegant. Highly recommended.

This is another of my favorite fragrances. I get a really fresh out of the shower, soft smell that sticks around for a while. It doesn't scream flowers, fruit, or even perfume. If you like a fragrance that just smells really good and clean (like in Bobbi Brown bath, Philosophy, etc.) then this is for you. It also has the distinct quality of smelling good in all seasons, something you rarely find in a fragrance.

Happiness-inducing! Elegant, feminine and romantic. Very discreet, but instantly recognisable as well. What sets it apart from other powdery fragrances is a note I can only describe as anise/licorice, forming a delightful union with the slightly sweet spice and flower notes. One whiff of this and I'm on cloud nine.

I smelled this of a friend and I loved it so I bought it for my sister and she enjoys it aswell. It's a very smooth feminine and sofisticated scent. I would say it's very safe aswell because it's so pleasant. I think it's an all year 'round fragrance. However I see a girl who's over 18 years old wearing this because it's so sofisticated. Longevity is okay I guess, I'm not sure because I don't wear it :-)

Lacoste pour Femme is a soft scent throughout it's short duration. A soft peppery opening transitions into gentle white flowers. The soft theme continues into the base, which is woods with a bit of incense.

This is a perfectly acceptable fragrance, and would be considered safe for most occasions. It is pretty and inoffensive. But in the end, that is exactly what gives it a neutral rating from me.

This is a soft and slightly sweet powdery perfume. The opening is a little peppery and dries into a woodsy powdery scent. Lasts for a decent time, too.

the jasmine and freesia are predominant in this one. the sandalwood takes over in the dry down. all in all, a very safe, unoffensive, perfume. the lasting power is almost non existent though. if you like soft sensuous florals with a sandalwood base, you should try this one.

It's warm, it's soft, it's elegant, it's Lacoste Pour Femme. I love the way the bottle, the box, and the add represent both the fragrance and Lacoste as a brand so well. Its really well done. But the smell itself appears hard to classify. Some call it 'warm and romantic' and a girl I know called it 'sophisticated'. On me, Lacoste smells soft and warm, I really like to wrap that around me. Unfortunatelly saleswomen tend to call it 'fresh and flowery' and they start to bring on scents that are really nothing like it. I've been trying for some time now to find a fragrance like it, but I haven't succeeded so far. I wear it daytime, but also have used it for a night out. People who notice the smell are pretty impressed by it. I never had a negative comment on this perfume, and this is the only perfume I have which pulled that off. (My entire family has a picky nose) It stays a few hours but could be better, thats the only slightly negative thing I can think off.

If you want to smell like you've just had a shower and used some cute, girly shower gel in it - and if you want that smell to last much longer than could reasonably be expected in the heat of summer, this scent might take your fancy! On a personal note, it specifically reminds me of a shampoo we used as kids on summer camp. I don't wear this if I want to feel sexy, but I do wear if if I want to smell clean and indulge in olfactory nostalgia.

Very light, fresh, soft, and flowery scent with some scent of woods. It is a Floral - Woody Musk type of perfume. This perfume is undeniably feminine, tender, and romantic.I think this perfume is adorable and is rarely disliked by people. The only criticism is that it does not last long.

Reminds me of Lancome's Tresor. Which is good.

This is definitely a summer fragrance for me. It's light and refreshing.... perfect for those warmer days! I'm not a floral fan at all, but the warmer basenotes are what make this perfume for me. I wish it lasted longer on me though, but overall very nice!

I thought this fragrance was wonderful. I wore it for as a daytime fragrance for a few months, but bored of it quickly because I didn't find it lasted very long. Also I found the drydown had a very powdery scent, kinda reminded me of newborn babies.. hehe.. maybe thats an undocumented note.

I wore a sample of this a couple of times and liked it alot. It's a soft, clean floral, a type of scent that seems to work well on me. I wish it lasted longer, but this is a great everyday fragrance. Clean, sweet, skin scent on me. I may even ask Santa for a bottle.

Very chic summer scent. Holds well in warm weather...received lots of compliments but it does give me a mild headache.. Maybe too floral for me but overall, a wonderful scent.

I like this in the heat of summer, Lacoste pour femme really keeps its freshness. I'd classify it as a mildly/sweetly spiced floral. If you are at the waterpark, beach, picnic, tennis match, or anywhere else that might find you 'glowing' (aka: sweating) this scent won't turn nasty on you! I've also used their roll on deodorant which also receives a thumbs up.

This perfume is neither offensive or terribly original. On me it reminds me of those crisp bed linen sprays. I just don't think I will use this much.
