Le Gemme : Empyr fragrance notes
- ginger, Sandalwood, Benzoin,
Latest Reviews of Le Gemme : Empyr
I'm having trouble wrapping my nose around Empyr. It's primary ingredient is some sort of chemical that acts as an obscuring agent, a thick, clear wall that's almost hidden, but makes itself known by making all the others notes of Empyr very hard to pinpoint. Like clear nail polish, it should be basically invisible, but becomes easy to see when an extreme amount is worn.
Every once in a while, when the listed ginger, sandalwood, and benzoin peek through, I can see a lot of promise here, but it's too much work looking for them.
Aside from the mystery chemical, there's also a layer that I can best describe as "bleachy", which further obscures the purported stars of the show. I don't think I can give this a thumbs up.
