Rose fragrances playing with gender is nothing new, and neither is mixing rose and oud for either/any/no gender. But Mathilde Laurent's Oud & Pink makes good use of her lean and clean aesthetic, mating a pale pink rose to an oud note that isn't so much "rugged and gloomy" as it is shrouded in a bit of mystery. You'll find no va-va-voom bombast or self-conscious complexity here, but If you find subtle innuendo sexy, Oud & Pink will likely curl your toes.
