Latest Reviews of Light Blue pour Homme Italian Love
Heck yes. Joe from Joe Smells Good on YouTube suggested this to me after he sent me a sample of LB Forever which is 90% similar and I loved it. This one was worth the 80 bucks I spent. Don’t pay any more than that unless you are obsessed with grapefruit and you need a signature scent. Lasts a long time on skin and clothes, especially for a citrus forward fragrance. Bright, juicy, salty, realistic grapefruit. Really beautiful. Really easy to wear. I don’t see anyone around you not liking this. I layer it from time to time with Classic Green by Banana Republic. It’s a beautiful warm weather combo. Delicious, like drinking sparkling grapefruit juice while taking a green tea bubble bath.
I love grapefruit notes, especially when they smell realistic and freshly peeled. My favorite fresh fruity scent used to be Light Blue Forever, but I've switched my opinion to Light Blue Italian Love. Where LBF is a citrus blast of very rindy, tart grapefruit, LBIL opens with a bit more approachable grapefruit note - still fresh and realistic, but not as acidic. Also, LBIL has a few extra/different notes from LBF that make it more sophisticated and usable in more situations. I still love LBF, but LBIL is now my go-to fragrance for fresh, fruity warm weather scents.

Oh my god, I made the mistake of trying this on in Sephora today (8 March '23) since I didn't want to spray on the same things I normally grab.
BLECH *vomits*. Do you know the smell your crotch area gets after a day of being outside in the sun and walking around? Kinda sour and salty and stinky? Now add a dash of grapefruit peel to the top of that rancid, sour body odor smell and you have Light Blue Italian Love. I really hope the Italians are not loving this fragrance.
The worst freshie fragrance I have tried on. There is a reason this is like $30 for 100ml at discounters!

This picks up from last year's summer offering, Light Blue Forever and adds 'green and ozonic' notes. LBF is straight grapefruit, not much else. LBIL is that plus a shirt and tie formal kind of smell.
I would wear LBF for an outdoor outing or picnic while LBIL works better for an office setting if you want the same type of smell.

Surprisingly good, especially when I went in with low expectations. The lovely grapefruit opening was a pleasant surprise. While it's not breathtaking, I'm still impressed with this fragrance. It has moderate performance and projection. It seems like the last few Light Blue flankers have been successful, thanks to the grapefruit note.
What a little "rascal" this one. Smells like an isotonic soda drink in a very cool, modern way. Imagine yourself on one of Croatian islands such as Hvar or Brač, but you're not on a beach. You're on a terrace with a view of the sea or land coasts in the distance, while you're having a nice, fresh isotonic drink that's keeping your electrolites up.
Strong grapefruit and bergamote kick, ozonic notes give that weird "blue-burned airiness". Vetiver and musk in the base, to keep things in order. In the matter of one hour to me it went from "I don't know, it's not for me" to "this isn't that bad, maybe I should get it".
Originality: 6/10
Scent: 7/10
Longevity: 8/10
Projection: 6/10
