So often, these days, I find Contemporary Feminines so Ambery Candy Floss sweet.
Angel at once was so intoxicating, however proved ruinous in it's effect on the Fem repertoire going forward.
Then Mugler assaulted us again with the Vanilla Sweet Bun Alien Essence Absolue which I find again, intoxicatingly Sweet Gourmand and Comic.
This Loukhoum stuff carries the Gourmand thing forward, however, it manages to finesse through to a Perfumed Almond Perfectly Flaky Croissant.
Candy Floss I may like to pass across my lips maybe once a year.
A Vanilla Bun maybe once a Month.
In my Perfect World, an Almond Croissant is what I would choose to wake up to every Morning.
I Think I'm in the Hunt for a full Bottle of this Stuff.

Turkish delight or lokum (Ottoman Turkish: لوقوم) is a family of confections based on a gel of starch and sugar.
Having sampled a gifted decant four times during winter, I say this is a beast of a gourmand. On initial spray, you are enveloped in a bomb of powder, closely followed by vanilla. Then it settles on the skin and toasted almond peeks and greets. I can only get a quick whiff of rose, but it is definitely powder and a vanilla show from start to finish. Finally, patchouli takes the stage and creates a smooth dry down, and it lingered in my skin for a good eight hours. I prefer this to Lokhoum (which I now refer to as the Lokhoum Lite), Two sprays are enough for me. The sillage is enormous! Be forewarned, she is a loud rich aunt that will hug you tightly to suffocation during your once-a-year Christmas gathering.

Pink fruity marzipan confection. It starts with a blast of almondy helitropin plus assorted pink fruits, it tones down a bit after that, but remains resolutely pink and sweet, with an added touch of pink from some rose and an overaly fruity baby powder fell. The confection is edible, but not satisfyingly so. Even less satisfying is it to wear as a fragrance.
(This was smelled as a part of a blind sniff.)

Sweet, almondy & powdery with hints of vanilla & tonka, but only a whisper of rose. A very nice comfort scent with good longevity & sillage, but IMO not as good as Montale's Sweet Oriental Dream, which is less powdery, more rose-prominent, & has a much more pronounced & longer-lasting tonka note. l like this one, but the Montale is the one l'd purchase.
