Latest Reviews of Madagascar Vanilla
In comparison to Vanilla Bourbon from the same line, this feels more balanced, as the subtle coconut accord offsets some of the heavier vanillic nuances. This one has grown on me and is easily among the better offerings from Nest.
While it’s fairly linear, I find it well blended, and it never becomes cloying or sickly sweet. There’s also a soft tropical undertone coming from the coconut. Coconut can sometimes smell artificial or overly sweet, but here it’s nicely integrated with the vanilla, which helps the fragrance come across as more refined and higher quality. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but overall, I think it’s a solid and respectable release from the line.

This really should have been called Coconut Vanilla because the coconut is very pronounced in this. It’s nice if you like coconut and vanilla but it costs a lot for a simple smelling fragrance. It is a perfume oil so it doesn’t take a lot of the perfume to get a nice intense smell
