An odd combination of smells. It's sort of buttery, with vague fruit on top, and it's also a bit metallic, presumably from the violet leaf. Given time, an annoying "woody amber" chemical takes over as the base, leaving me disappointed. I feel like there's a good idea here, but it's just not realized, thanks to the "woody amber" nonsense. Had this been built on ambrox or incense, this mix of fruit, flowers, and buttery metal could have been quite compelling. Oh well.
