I sampled this today and want to chime in. It does seem completely linear, and it does go all out grapefruit with a simple musk base to my nose. I find it pleasant and refreshing in the summer heat, at least for the first 8 hours. It turns out there is only so much grapefruit I can handle.

I can't get over how long it's lasting. I still smell like grapefruit after ten hours. For longevity alone, it has to get a thumbs-up.

This one was quite nice, but it's certainly a citrus riff on Sel Marin from the same brand. For my money, I'll take Sel Marin all day long. But it's still certainly good for what it is.

The opening is yuzu indeed, clear, bright and quite fresh. other fruits - mainly mandarins and oranges on me - add to the summery fruit bowl. Nice.

Soon the sea salt impression arises, which carries an accords of seaweed with it., which is the hallmark of the drydown, with the yuzu retreating gradually over time. Touches of a faint vetiver are lurking in the background,

The second half is a wave of white musks that washed over me in a somewhat undistinguished manner. It is not the most impressive of white musks.

I get moderate sillage, good projection and six hours of longevity on my skin.

I lovely start, then less impressive as a bit too predictive and unimaginative - as if an attenuated copy of the same House's Sel Marin is intercalated here. The rest is too generic to excite. Overall 2.75/5.

The opening is a fantastic oily yuzu with a nice zest combined with grapefruit and orange rinds, as with a lot of citruses don't expect this to last long as the salty seaweed heart starts to poke through giving it that (insert fruit) field/orchard by the sea that's constantly used these days (i sleep), as the fragrance drys down your left with laundry powder musk with hints of vetiver.
Boring.

Eating grapefruit with salt is the first image that springs to mind when I wear this.
The opening is juicy and realistic, fresh, lively and pleasant. I'm not really getting much of a mandarin note. It smells fairly blended to me, more mandarin plus yuzu.
I enjoy the ‘by the sea' note that starts emerging after a while. It gives the citrus a deeper resonance. And I also like that the Yuzu doesn't dissipate as if it's an ephemeral top note, but is an actual player. This heartnote, a bridge between the opening citrus and the later Sel Marin note is my favorite part of the fragrance. It just made me feel good.
One reviewer noted if you have Sel Marin you may not need Note de Yuzu because of the later convergence of these two, or use NdY as an alternative. I'm one who would choose this one over Sel Marin because of its quality of air. Though marines are an interesting niche, many feel a little oppressive on me as they age, lacking air and color, being a little flat. So I prefer the lift the citrus elements of Note de Yuzu give the Sel Marin accord. I see it as the intent of this perfume. Nice, pleasant - it makes the salty notes sing a little.

Immediately identifies as Heeley with a distinctive salty Sel Marin breath. The Mandarin's perfume true, Yuzu citrus is meditative enhanced by the bloom and vague bitterness of Grapefruit. Touched with a sprinkle of Vetiver adds a little earthy robustness.
Gourmand in that I can vision this on a white plate assembled with precision that of Thomas Keller.

A lovely scent that balances the layers of Citrus bloom ethereal.

Recommended for it's elegant purity.

Zeste de Gingembre follows with similar panache.
