Latest Reviews of Replica On A Date
Back in the 90s I was obsessed with a body spray in Boots Natural Collection called Dewberry. This reminds me of a sophisticated version of that. I enjoy the blackcurrant note as I don't have anything else like it in my collection. Sadly, the blackcurrant becomes unnoticeable to me pretty quickly. It's a shame this perfume doesn't last well for me.
When I initially sprayed this on, I immediately thought it was more of a feminine fragrance. A few hours later, I still think it's more of a feminine fragrance. The rose gives it that vibe in this one. The ladies should love this one.

At first spray I didn't like it, but for the last hour I keep sniffing my arm and enjoying the blackcurrant sweetness with the background rose. Well balanced and my favorite Replica release in a while! I think a travel spray is necessary at the minimum....
At first, the opening of this fragrance didn't strike me as particularly remarkable, but the drydown had a slightly intriguing quality. I picked up faint hints of a sweet and slightly tart rose scent, mixed with what I presume is blackcurrant syrup. Some have described it as having a grape or berry candy/gummy aroma. While it isn't sickly sweet or syrupy in any way, it is well-balanced with a refreshing note. I agree with others who have mentioned the similarities between this fragrance and Lush's Rose Jam.
Initially, I felt that this fragrance was slightly better than some of Replica's recent releases such as Matcha Meditation and When the Rain Stops. However, upon further reflection, I must take back my positive impression. The mid and dry-down notes of the fragrance were ultimately quite boring, and the price tag felt excessive. Overall, I found it to be one of the most lackluster releases from Replica. While the longevity is moderate and performance is decent, I wouldn't consider this fragrance to be bottle-worthy. However, given that Replica fragrances are easily accessible at Sephora, it's worth giving this one a try.
