Reviews of Rocks by Original Penguin
This cologne reminds me of a mixture of several others that I have experienced in the pass: Hugo Boss Bottled #6, Dolce & Gabbana The One, Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme, and Versace Eros. All are sexy, pungent, masculine scents that have elements of sweetness and warm woods like Original Penguin's Rocks scent.
Fairly cheap cost but the cologne smells well-made.

Easily wearable and not offensive, but it is a more synthetic version of YSL Lhomme with some extra apple chemical mixed in, almost like mixing Lhomme with Boss Bottled. Smells pretty cheap, like a knockoff scent.
Projection is really good for a couple of hours and then it becomes a skin scent for 8-10 hours. I found it to project loudly when sprayed on clothing.

I have had this one for months and am just getting around to it.. It opens up with an apple/spicy floral accord on a woody base.. Somewhat synthetic while being pleasant.. Not a lot of transistion through the duration of the scent.Very casual/daytime scent that screams safe!! I will wear it a few more times before I swap it.. Sillage is average and longevity is low..
Poor flanker.
This is a very linear and simple fragrance. It's a chemically synthetic apple note combined with a musty vanilla. That's it. Projection and longevity are very poor. Not a bad thing with this because it's that bad. I think Original Penguin was trying to cash in on the popularity of YSL L'homme, but failed miserably. This smells like a knockoff or imposter type of fragrance. Stay away for this one at all costs.
Pros: It's inexpensive.
Cons: It's awful."

This was a surprise for me and I really liked it.
It produces a mellow, pleasant scent and the dry-down in incredibly nice.
I look forward to purchasing a full bottle of this.

This is actually a great smelling fragrance. Strong apple in it with some vanilla/powder. Smells almost like D&G The One mixed with L'homme with apples on top. Only difference is it has better longevity and projection than both.
This is a lot better than I expected...quite strong and last long. What is surprising is that it does not smell like anything out there, which is a good thing. It has all the hallmarks of a great fragrance: distinct scent, good sillage, excellent projection, interesting notes and more. It opens bright and fizzy with a green edge, then makes a visit to the orient before finally settling into the woods. Thumbs up for sure. Te first launch in the brown bottle is just as good.
