Sicilian Limes by Shay & Blue takes an interesting direction. The initial burst of fresh limes is extremely short lived before the indian spice bizarre kicks in. It's "bizarre," but I like this one. The lime is still there with the spices, but the spiciness takes the forefront rather quickly on my skin. The dry down is my favorite part. It becomes a smooth rosemary and muted wood affair that closes out the brief lime and protracted spiciness just right. The middle eastern spice direction is different than any other lime EDP I have, but that's part of the reason I like this one.

Sicilian Limes booked a day trip to the Amalfi Coast and found himself jostling for a spot on a crowded beach. He could see Acqua di Gio pour Homme occupying a prime spot with L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme taking the other.

In an effort to make his presence known to the rest and carve himself more space, Sicilian Limes emptied half a bottle on himself but only managed a whimper of a projection, drawing barely stifled chuckles from the likes of Italian Bergamot and Mandarine Glaciale.

A lovely lime note witha marine bent, and a herbal rosemary-thyme hint in the drydown. The base is lightly woody and a bit nonspecific, but overall this is quite a refreshing citrus summer scent.
Moderate sillage and good projection, is boasts an excellent longevity for a citrus-based fragrance: seven hours on my skin. 3/5

Half the price of Nouveau Bowery from Bond and almost as good. Very nice lime note that goes on and on with a muted but pleasant woody finish. Simple but effective.
