Afnan (2020)

A sliiiiiightly less dense version of Amouage Interlude, but their similarity is striking. This is not an easy wear, could easily get cloying. For most fragrances, I hit my chest with 6 - 8 sprays, but this one has me thinking that the 2 sprays I used was almost too much for wearing in my office. Outdoors would be better, cooler weather is a must. While I admire this dna, it's power and chypric profile limit occasions on which to wear this, and I know I would never use a whole bottle. But I am very glad that I have a 10ml decant in my collection, which I expect will last me many years.

Oh what a great incense fragrance this could have been, had they prevented the cotton candy isolate from spilling into the formula.... Great performance.

I blind bought this one because I have lots of courage and it was a success. This is right up my wheelhouse because it's thick, heavy, masculine and strong. Some label this Unisex on which I hugely disagree. This fragrance is Definitely for a man. It has all the components of an economical scents that has great value. The drydown is something special too. The first thing you'll notice when applying is just how smokey it is. I'm detecting some sort of pepper note, although it's not listed I think it's somewhere in there. You know it amazes me in a positive way how this can be bought for under $35 and receive such performance. I will say though that this fragrance isn't for everyone because some will say it's TOO heavy or it's TOO strong etc. Can be considered cloying even to a point. To aid this only 2 or 3 spritzes will do and then you'll be on your way.
