Silk Santal gets most of the raves, but I prefer Velvet Santal.
Starts with a lightly smoked black tea with jasmine that fades down to a lovely, musky, milky sandalwood-laced benzoin.
I personally find this well-balanced.
A groundbreaking sandalwood this is not.
If anything, I find this more of a well-constructed sweet-leaning amber.

Is this earth-shattering? No.
And if you are looking for the astringency that accompanies most scents marketed as "masculine," you won't get it here.
But for me, this is an easy wear.
I also vibe with much of Kayali's catalog, so YMMV.

Also performs similarly to Kayali's other scents, which means fairly short wear times.
If you are looking for beast mode, you will be very disappointed.
