Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif by Chanel

This is honestly what I had hoped the Parfum to be. I was let down with that one in the dry down it strayed too far from the Bleu De Chanel DNA. L’Exclusif brings to the table a darker Bleu De Chanel in the beginning you are greeted with the signature Bleu De Chanel smell we all know. Into the dry down things begin to really change and the leather and darker direction picks up it smells excellent and is a worthy release from Chanel.

The problem is most folks have been around the block a few times and have a handful or more fragrances they wear and have experienced a lot that is out there. This makes this release a hard sale for a lot of experienced folks in this hobby.

All that aside this is a worthy release and a solid smooth one at that, likely to hold that status for many years after it’s release. The one thing Bleu De Chanel does well is fit in in any situation and is never out of place. Each concentration of BDC has this effect where you will revisit it time and time again and it ages so well with no flaws.

If I solely wanted one fragrance and only one for every situation and wanted things simplistic this would be it all the boxes are ticked and anyone new to fragrances could get by with only this one. Props to Chanel for this release after testing it I see it’s purpose even if it’s audience is smaller than the other versions of BDC.

Beau de Jour by Tom Ford

This is some excellent stuff and strong at that, imagine smelling like the man with the plan the main guy the CEO haha! This is a finely blended fougere and smells excellent after many wears this one really stands out and smells classy I have enjoyed each wearing. I’m floored by the performance just excellent cold or hot this one performs spray it and forget it 2-3 sprays is all you need. If your in the market for a versatile signature fragrance this one is the closest imo how a man should smell that is a person of importance or enjoys the finer things in life.

Azzaro pour Homme by Azzaro

If I wanted a signature masculine fragrance Azzaro Pour Homme would be it old school but still modern and versatile. To imagine 300+ ingredients are the make up of this fragrance boggles the mind. This was the good ole times when men smelled manly and rugged but also of class, always a pleasure to wear in my weekly rotation.
