Lemonade Grenade by The Raconteur

The opening is a lot to take in, it's a bit too bright, too much citrus ( not my favourite note) and fizzy for me. Once it settles it gives proper icecream vibes and it's a fun fragrance.

Aquila Absolute by Electimuss

Sparkling woody clean skin leather oud. A leather oud for people who are afraid to commit or want a very office safe option. It's good, bit more masculine leaning if you care about that. I get very little fruityness, on my skin it's more clean woods and then faint hints of leather and oud.

Beso Pasión by Beso Beach

If someone says they want a fig fragrance but not too figgy I'd give them this. Or if they like cardamom but Kenzo Jungle is too much.

Now the drydown is woody resin perfection and survived a shower.

Tuberose & Amber by Oliver Bonas

This has no business being as good as it is. It doesn't have the depth of say MPG ambre precieux, but for a bottle that is maybe 10% of that proce I don't expect it. Yet, it has some depth and interest. No notes stand out shrilly, it's blended well. You can pick out the amber, the tuberose for some candy sensation. Its fresh and warm, very wearible. Maybe a little plastic, but in a very good way. I absolutely adore it for its price point.

Santal Noble (new) by Maître Parfumeur et Gantier

Im not a fan of the opening, but the drydown is absolutely exquisite. Its what I always want from sandalwood but rarely get these days. MPG used to be highly rated, often talked about and recommended and they deserve to be that still. These are scents with lasting power without being obnoxious and crass.

Vétiver Écarlate by L'Artisan Parfumeur

Really wearable, refreshing garden with no flowers. Totally unisex. I'll buy it after I finish bottles in my current collections that fill the same need. Highly recommended, it's a safe buy but still more interesting than many other offerings. Personally I would bave liked more vetiver. Right now its very very modern

Banana Split by Jousset Parfums

Extreme banana that makes me smile, it didn't make me sick like some other bananas. Its very gourmand, very sweet but not yet over the top.

Lovebird by Zoologist

Very fruity and fresh, uplifting. Almost a soda candy pip vibe, but no lasting power.

Isparta 26 by Parfumerie Generale

Its good but i already have montale in my collection. This is maybe a little jammier and easier to wear, but then I have some Creeds that do the same. Lovely budget option if you are a fan of Carmina, its not a dupe but in the same vein.

Pear Pavlova by French Cowboy

I was hoping for a gourmand pear, what I got was just an almond dessert. Its lovely, but lacks a lot of the depth of other almond perfumes. Its nice if you want a break from cherry and almonds, and it still leans very vanilla too. But not super complex, very middle of the road.

Fiore di Cotone by Farmacia SS. Annunziata

Very powdery, a lot of clean musk and some vanilla and lavender. For me, its wayyy to heavy on the powder and musk. I was hoping for more crispness.

Via Dell'Incenso by Farmacia SS. Annunziata

Very wearable light incense, not very churchy or resiny..but thats what I was looking for.

Éclipse d'Or by The House of Oud

The opening is great, but then it very quickly turns into a very standard oudy leather situation. The drydown is super soft though and mild, so if you normally struggle with oud or leather this might be good. Im however left thinking of at least 6 bottles in my collection that will do roughly the same as this, but more pronounced in one area or the next.

Telea by Tiziana Terenzi

The pear opening is fresh, clean, a bit clean and very juicy and fresh. I loved it, it lasted for maybe an hour and thr drydown is a much more muted nice shampoo musk. It's nice but not worth the price. The bottle is lovely, but you arent wearing that out and about.

Spiky Muse by Ex Nihilo

Ive been wearing this from a decant a on holiday because its gone before I reach a perfume shop. The initial sprays are lovely, the opening is great. Its refreshing, fun, sweet and aromatic. And gone before you arrive anywhere.

Oscarine by Sylvaine Delacourte

Its ok, a fresher fruitier take on neroli. There are others in this line that I think are more novel. Its ok.

Ozkan by Sylvaine Delacourte

This is good, I found an orange blossom I like. The leather makes a big difference but the other notes also blend the leather and neroli better together so that it makes a good blend and not just weird. This makes neroki wearable to me. Nice!

Olyssia by Sylvaine Delacourte

This takes me back to Portugal when the trees were filled with oranges. I like this. Its probably low on being to true to orange blossom and neroli ( which are notes I generally do not like).

Osiris by Sylvaine Delacourte

Very gourmand for some reason, and warmer. It has more depth than the average orange blossom fragrance, but its not enough for me to overcome my personal hatred for this note. So if you already like orange blossom give it a try!

Nurture by Abel

I love the warm and dry wood in here, there is complexity and nuance here but its all very subtle. Its not a perfume others will really notice for long, but while its there it is nice. I'd recommend this as a layering option if you want to add a bit of depth to something that is lacking that. For me this also makes sense when you want to wear something light after a shower and having a quiet evening alone. Its a comfort scent with beautiful dry, airy wood scents.

Memori : Ciel Magnolia by Kenzo

Im not a connoisseur of magnolia, but this is a very clean dry soapy perfume. There are hints of yellow florals to keep it interesting. Its warm and subtle, but mainly you get clean laundry vibes that were washed in a floral detergent and left to dry in sunshine. I like it, and I like wearing these fresh sunny scents from time to time. I always wear it when you dont want to be heavily fragranced, because this could just be a stunning detergent.

Ambre et Vanille by E.Coudray

Since I'm privately outraged that this isnt more popular I figured its about time to review it. It's a lovely amber and vanilla fragrance, it becomes rather powdery. It leaves a lovely sillage and people ask me what it is I'm wearing. It's blended well, but kept quite simple. It's not too spicy, and has a bright opening. It's essentially wearing a lovely drydown from the start, it's not too complicated but done well with care. It's a warm hug.

Nymphéas (Water Lilies) by Kismet Olfactive

The opening is crazy and super chemical and synthetic. It reminds me of industrial paint thinner, but it quickly evaporated and then the most dominant smell was lily of the valley. I wished the weird opening stayed longer, it is unique. The lily of the valley was good, but there wasnt much else going on.

Caoba by Fueguia 1833

I have had so many compliments on this fragrance, but everyone picks up different notes. But everyone agrees that it smells very good. I dont smell it myself very strongly, which is a downside. Its also not cheap but a wonderful woody gourmand. Based on the notes you'd worry it could be a woody angel, but its very earthy chocolate with plenty of citrus hinting notes on a good wooden base.
