A familiar scent that reminds me of lemon scented dish washing liquid with metallic note. Don't hate it, don't love it.Sel Marin by Heeley
To me, this is a heady scent of literal seaweed, with that Heeley signature synthetic smell lingering. Instead of happy memories of being by the seaside, the seaweed that this scent reminds me of is slimy and fishy. Not very enjoyable.ADVERTISEMENT

A niche fragrance that I am happy to pay a high price tag for. The longevity is solid, and the sillage is moderate. It is ultra versatile, sweet yet clean, marine foward but not fishy, and very unique. Though if I must make a comparison, the combination of juicy, fruity and clean unisex fragrance like this reminds me of MFK gentle fluidity silver, not similar at all, but they serve the same purpose.Happy for Men by Clinique
This fragrance is true to the name. This light and fizzy mandarin scent really does bring happiness. It's just easy-going, fresh, and youthful. Perfect to lighten up a hot day. It only has roughly two hours of wear however, which can be remedied with iso e super, giving it a couple more hours of wear.O, Unknown! by Imaginary Authors
Quite a floral, herbal and pretty scent with a hint of musk. I do think this scent is a bit common and not as unique as other Imaginary Authors scents because it does remind me of a smell somewhere else, perhaps some skincare product. If this perfume was a color, it'd start with a pinkish lilac, then it gradually get darker to a deeper, more seductive violet shade. It is a bit feminine for me (as a man), but overall a decent fragrance that I am quite happy to wear out with a floral print shirt.Slow Explosions by Imaginary Authors
The sweet rosy notes contrasting the animalic leather note is bit shocking and unpleasant to my nose. It is rather long-lasting but in a cloying and sickly way. Do note that my preferences are lighter and drier scents, so unfortunately this fragrance is completely opposite to that.Memoirs of a Trespasser by Imaginary Authors
I mainly get lightly sweet vanilla and cocoa notes with a hint of smokiness and woodiness. All of those notes combined doesn't work that well in this fragrance. It's not awful, just rather discordant imo. But I do think someone who is more into sweet and gourmand scent will like this.A City On Fire by Imaginary Authors
Just a jarring burnt scent with a hint of booze. Not my type and I find it difficult to imagine that someone would think this is fragrant.Sundrunk by Imaginary Authors
It's got character, but doesn't suit my style. The opening is this sharp, pungent sunscreen notes but magnified 10 times. Then the dry down becomes soft and orangey with a slight hint of sweetness. Despite the nice base notes, the opening is so overwhelming that I just don't enjoy this.Plus, I imagine that someone who likes to tan, or has a darker complexion would be more suited to wear this fragrance to go sunbathing or just to enjoy a sunny day outdoors. Not my cup of tea.
Saint Julep by Imaginary Authors
I simply do not understand this fragrance. I have tested it about five times, and each time I just get this minty menthol note with the strangest tuna fishiness with its top notes. The dry down settled into a sweet cool scent. Still, I don't like it.Every Storm a Serenade by Imaginary Authors
I mainly get marine and seaweed type notes with a hint of wood when it's dried down. It's an aquatic fragrance with a twist that reminds me of the cold sea breeze in England in the winter. I enjoy the uniqueness it brings to my collection and considered buying a full bottle, but the performance is rather awful, lasting no more than two hours. I layered it on top bleu de chanel parfum that gave it more lasting power and a more classic touch which did mix well with this fragrance. The acoord of this fragrance really is my cup of tea. Shame that it just fades away after a while.
