An instant love for me. Basically a blue collar Cartier Declaration. Longevity is lacking to me, but the scent is heavenly. Great blind buy.

My wife bought me a box of sample spray vials from FN as a christmas present (great idea, btw). Of the 30 or so she grabbed I had only previously owned a handful, which was pretty lucky.

Anywho, this little gem was in there. She told me to pick 2 and that would be the "real" present. I'm not ashamed to admit #1 was Armaf CDNI.

#2 was this bad boy. I'd never heard of it, and oddly it wasn't my "favorite" scent of the lot. But damn, there was something about it. It's mature while not dated, familiar but unique. The first day I owned it, on more than one occasion I stopped what I was doing and thought to myself "damn, I smell good."

I get tea up front and spice mids, with an occasional floral perfumy whiff mixed with the skin scent spice in the dry down. It's something else.

I will say: everyone says "cumin". I certainly get spice, but I wouldnt put my finger on cumin as the central theme. This does not smell like a pot of chili to me. It smells like a confident 38 year old man.

Starts off with a peppery, fizzy cumin note. Almost has a ginger beer smell. After the opening fades, it's a cumin-citrus scent, very much like Cartier Declaration. Maybe even some Terre d'Hermes. Both of those are too mature for my preferences but even though this isn't my kind of scent, I enjoyed getting wafts of this throughout the day. It felt a little sweeter than both, more accessible.

Projection isn't big but it does push out a good amount of scent in a smaller bubble. Lasts all day and into the night. Excellent longevity.
