Le Cherche Midi (2012)

This one is great right from the opening and doesn't disappoint throughout the life of the fragrance. It starts out with a natural smelling grapefruit and bergamot. From there you'll get the woods and vetiver. The woods combined with the vetiver bring out a smell similar to Creed's Bois de Cedrat. From here is where you'll get the Japenese Shiso which has a smokey quality to it. This is basically a niche version of Guerlain Homme or a better version of Bois de Cedrat. Outstanding woody citrus fragrance.

Sparkling and clear grapefruit permeates this scent... the bergamot and shiso I believe adds to the complexity as it's a very unique citrusy blend, which can be a little sharp and tangy. But in a good way...

I tried layering this with Tuscan Leather and it works beautifully (was inspired from the time an SA layered Tuscan Leather with Azure Lime)... But next time I would use 2 sprays of TL to 1 spray of LCM No. 30. This reflects well of the sillage of LCM No. 30!

Longevity is average though...
