A very 'antique' scent. In the beginning you get fluffy florals and light woods with a very FUZZY aspect to it... (Is that the nitro musks I wonder???) Very vintage in feel and I'm getting a sweetness out of this what I was not expecting. It smells like it's gonna darken up but I am only 15ish minutes into this journey and it's excellent so far.

This stuff is the DEFINITION of not linier. Thirty minutes in and it's changing like mad. WAY darker woods are kicking up now. OLD smelling woods. Starting to skew much more masculine to my nose now.

A slight sweetness from beeswax keeps catching me off guard and that's not a bad thing at all. However, the star of the show to my nose is the masterful use of walnut. It's probably the best use of the note that I have come across. The dry walnut mixing with the dark woods is almost giving it an antique store or antique furniture kind of vibe to it. Old highly polished woods. There is also this underlying 'burning' smell that starts to come through as time goes on. It truly is an incredible fragrance. VERY complex!

Wow...I absolutely love Anachronism. It is soulful, deep, rich, stirring, and satisfying to wear. In fact, when I wear this perfume, I find that I sometimes get lost in it a little...like stepping back in time...like Richard Collier in Somewhere in Time, Anachronism is transportive and like Elise McKenna, stunningly beautiful. I will treasure this perfume and I'm so happy it was made! Thank you Eric!
