I was never particularly wowed by the original Angel’s Share, so I might not be the best advocate for this one — but it does smell good. The tonka bean here isn’t coumarin-heavy, nor does it come off harsh or synthetic. The oak and praline stand out the most, with that familiar boozy opening from the original still intact. Everything is nicely blended, and I’d definitely wear it.

After smelling a bunch of other scents at Sephora, I actually found some relief in the Kilian lineup — they consistently feel well composed and free of any rough edges. Still, would I spend retail or even discounter prices on this? Honestly, no. Performance is decent, but while it’s smooth and well made, it just feels a bit forgettable overall. Sorry this isn’t a very detailed take. I’ve never had major issues with Kilian fragrances, but I’ve also never felt they were worth their price tags.
