As seems to be par for the course for Kilian fragrances marketed as boozy, I get zero booze from this. It contains a milky sugary praline accord that is reminiscent of Feve Delicieuse (not a fragrance one should try to imitate - the original was bad enough) and that's about it. Perhaps a slight hint of that tolu accord from Single Malt/Old Fashioned but I might just be imagining things.

Boozy opening, followed by a slightly skanky, barnyard accord.
I smell a smoky oak note, as well. Eventually I detect cinnamon.
The base is a mellow, sweet thing; almost candy-like and nutty.
Many hours later it becomes powdery then, amber sandalwood-like.

I expected, or rather hoped, this would be stronger, more intense. Overall, I like it. Not full-bottle worthy for me.

So, I recently purchased a 5-vial By Kilian Sampler of their better-selling, feminine leaning perfumes. Angel's Share was in the sampler, along with Love Don't Be Shy, LDBS Fraiche, Good Girl Gone Bad and Princess. I love By Kilian fragrances. And I've owned a few full bottles of their GREATEST fragrances (Incense Oud, Rose Oud)...a few have sadly been discontinued.

WoW...Angels' Share opens with an undeniable, clearly distinguishable boozy, cognac liquor blast. Not my favorite opening with any perfume; however, the blast quickly dissipates and gives way to rather nondescript woody notes. If I push my nose into my skin, I occasionally detect a sweet floral note but anything beyond woods and amber is difficult for me to detect.

In the dry down, I do register a very faint, sweet almond note...but nothing very outstanding our memorable. I want to give this fragrance a fair ride because I was REALLY excited about sampling it. So, I will wear it a few times and adjust my review, if necessary.

Longevity is moderate. Silage is moderate.

At the By Kilian price point, I guess I was expecting more from this fragrance. Overall, the scent is disappointing.

I love Ambre Narguile, and I had high hopes for this but to me it just doesn't feel harmonious and blended well enough. It has a shrieking nofe that I also dislike. Haven't tried it on my slin because I found it so off putting.

I love Ambre Narguile & I love Oajan. It's that sweet tobacco, apple/cinnamon pie, pastry vibe. Really warm and comforting. Not an everyday wear, but I love it when I do. AN has the higher quality ingredients but always seems a bit light on me. Oajan has the power but may be a little too in your face. The reason I like Angels Share so much is because it sits perfectly between the two. The quality is there and it lasts, but doesn't shout. I find AS more boozy than the other 2 but all 3 are basically different branches of the same tree. I wouldn't say any one was better than the other, they just do different things. Not a fan of Kilian fragrances on the whole, but this one really hits a sweet spot on my skin.

I dont hate it but i dont love it either. It reminds me too much of back to black, heavy on the pipe tobacco and almond. No one mentions almond but i get that and thats what turns me off. Its like cinnamon, almond and tobacco. I do not get any apple notes. Cloying.
