This is the original which was taken over by Anne Klein a few years after the initial launch. This is the perfume of a together working woman who has a sense of place in the male dominated business world. Not quite a chypre, it's an aromatic green on a chypre base.
I don't know the source of the notes information on here - but they are wrong!

Top notes: plum, hyacinth, bergamot, lemon
Middle notes: carnation, rose, orris, jasmine
Base notes: oakmoss, cedar, musk, sandalwood

Clean and optimistic, Anne Klein Blazer is a breath of fresh air in these dreary times. It's fun to think that this may have been formulated to have the power to cut through the cigarette smoke in the workspace that often would have ashtrays built right into the desks. Soapy sunbursts and orange marigolds mingle with steeped geranium leaves, and are all brought home by clove-spiced patchouli and buttery sandalwood.

Blazer is long strides rather than diffident tiptoes, a "I'd Rather Fight Than Switch" Tareyton smoker who religiously watches Soap and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Cue Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time" and put that Riunite on ice. If Blazer had its own TV ad (there seems no evidence of such), it would deserve the Robert Abel and Associates treatment. Allegedly, this still smells great in more recent formulations with the white box/cap and black text.

This is an Anne Klein scent, distributed by Rubinstein, thus the logo at the top of the page is incorrect.

This was launched in 1976.

Top notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Plum, Hyacinth
Heart notes: Carnation, Orris, Lily, Jasmine, Rose
Base notes: Sandalwood, Cedar, Musk, Moss

Don't get excited. This is a bland chypre. Barbara Herman called it a fresh floral with a chypre base. My vintage mini was not. She encountered "citrus and plum, then a buttery sandalwood with musk and moss." Her nose is better than mine.

I found just a warm, round, buttery-yes, chypre with nothing original or outstanding in the entire experience. For me, just another dud from the 1970s. What a God-forsaken decade in the history of scent.

I have the Anne Klein Blazer, same perfume?

Oh, I love me some 70's strident feminist don't-look-at-my-tits perfumes. Reminiscent of Aliage, but more business. I have no idea what the notes are, but to me it smells like a green oakmoss, little vetiver on top a very light lily. I wish women were allowed to smell like this again, feminine but direct.
