Latest Reviews of Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62
On initial spraying, l get a burst of pistachio & warm, "solar" notes. lf l sniff too closely, there's something artificial/chemical-smelling here, but this impression only lasts around fifteen minutes. As it settles, l get almond/heliotrope & a whiff of coconut although it's not listed. Two hours in, the nutty notes fade & it's more of an ambery vanilla with caramel overtones & a trace of sandalwood. lt's still going softly after twelve hours, impressive for a body mist.
This is marketed as a beachy summer fragrance, & it certainly has a "sunkissed skin & hot sand" vibe, but l think it might be too much in hot weather. Perhaps in late summer/early autumn it might work better, & it would certainly be a pleasant reminder of carefree summer days when worn in the depths of winter. lt reminds me of Golden Paradise body spray by Hawaiian Tropic (which l already own), with the tropical fruit top notes taken out. Golden Paradise is much cheaper, but doesn't last nearly as long, so this one is probably better value.
My bottle came as part of a gift set l was given for Christmas, so l'll add a few notes here on the other items it contained:
Brazilian 4-Play shower cream: the scent is similar but lighter, with a slightly more fruity aspect. As a "cream" it has a thick, satiny texture & doesn't lather all that well, but feels quite moisturising. lt's ok, but I wouldn't go out & buy this.
Bum Bum body cream: the scent is very similar to Cheirosa 62, if a little less ambery. The texture is lovely, not too thick, a little goes a long way & it sinks in well. l can't say l notice any "skin-tightening" effects, but l really like this.
Brazilian Kiss lip balm: a nice almondy scent/flavour, but it doesn't melt very easily on the lips so l feel like l have to go over them several times with it. Therefore despite the generous size l don't think it's great value.

Pistachio nut butter and caramel lotion.
Nut notes that lean literal tend to go bitter on my skin.
The fragrance mist format seems to amplify that bitterness.
It's not in scrubber territory (thankfully).
Paired with the Bum Bum Cream - I can get Cheirosa 62 to last an hour and the cream dampens some of the bitterness a bit.
Where the Cheirosa 62 and Bum Bum cream combination shines is as a layering base for highly scented, banana-laced sunscreens such as Hawaiian Tropic and Sun Bum.
By itself, I'm not a fan of Cheirosa 62 and I don't think the Bum Bum cream is all that as a moisturizer.
Glad I tried them, but I don't need more.
