Intoxicating, perfect for here in Nicaragua. It's delicious enough to want others to smell it and share it, but I don't care if they can't, it means I have it all for me. The people who made this care about making a scent that doesn't need a dog's nose to detect it, it's a generous scent brimming with rich ingredients, generously added. I felt so happy when I sprayed this on, not cheated as one often does with measily concocted "niche" scents. All I need now is a glass of whiskey, but I can wait til tomorrow. I would say this scent was made by people who love life, and live it to the full, and want others to as well. Artisans, indeed. Love you for making this.

Cavendish is not overly complex, but is executed with levity.

I mostly get the smell of raw (unsmoked) tobacco with some light leather and a touch of vanilla. The smoke is subtle, if there at all. There’s a bit of subtle cherry-like boozy sweetness in the opening, but it’s short-lived. Overall, this is a tobacco fragrance through and through.

I find many tobacco-forward fragrances a bit too heavy for my tastes, but the aftershave/cologne wears very comfortably. Projection is modest and wear time is a solid 6 hours; this is a cozy fragrance for cold evenings by a fireplace.

Overall, Cavendish is not a fragrance I’m jumping to add to my collection, but for dyed-in-the-wool tobacco fans, it’s a must-try. This was PAA’s second ever scent, and they offer all sorts of ancillary products to suit your needs.

Thumbs up.

It's like the gentle aroma of a cherry cavendish pipe tobacco that has just been taken out of the pouch. intoxicating scent.

UPDATE.
When I myself wear this fragrance, it is unique to me. But when I smell it on others, I don't get that clear and precise smell of tobacco. I think this is a problem; It seems that the scent doesn't have enough density and loses its coherence in the air, and has been designed so that only the person who has worn it feels all the dimensions of that realistic tobacco.

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements “Cavendish” EDP (Pipe Tobacco) -

This type of fragrance has the potential to be a pipe tobacco lovers dream or simply another entry in a long line of banal unisex tropes that smell like a candle.

Fortunately, Cavendish is the latter! Well blended and complex with the subtle addition of wood, vanilla and mild smoke. No ash here, just straight out of the pouch pipe tobacco.

Recommended pairings - Brisk weather; Crackling fireplace; Flannel; Tumbler of Bushmills.

An impressively well-done artisanal take on the pipe tobacco blend. A boozy, liqueur-like backbone provides a throughline to woody tobacco, powdery vanilla, and suede. It's realistic while remaining wholly wearable.
