The company says:

Setting sail from Venice, the Muda of Syria traced a fascinating route along the eastern shores of the Mediterranean, landing in legendary ports such as the island of Cyprus, Beirut, Aleppo and Laiazzo. On this sea route, valuable ingredients such as roses, precious woods and resins such as storax reached the Serenissima, along with other valuable goods such as cotton and sugar.

This fragrance is born from a sublime and creative interpretation of Cyprus powder, inspired by the Secreti Nobilissimi of the Art of Perfumery. A floral whisper where the iris, regal protagonist, intertwines with delicate saline nuances and the crunchy freshness of pear. A heart of sumptuous roses and precious resins envelops the senses, while a deep and persistent base of warm woods, ancient lands and enveloping sensuality leaves an indelible mark. The blue color of the sea and the waves on the bottle recall the Mediterranean beach where the goddess Aphrodite emerged from a shell, revealing her beauty to the world.

I did not enjoy this, there were some very sharp and unpleasant aspects to it. As a whole it didn't feel harmonious to me and was another marine beach fragrance that tries to break away from the genre. But maybe its better to not break new grounds if it doesn't improve?

The nose behind it can do amazing things and made a recreation of khypre that Id buy immediately.
