Inspired by the mystery and beauty of Ancient Egypt where perfume originates, in the land of Pharaoh and Gods. Egypt has such wonder and history that it is hard not to be in awe when you stand at the foot of the great pyramids or look into the gold face mask of Tutankhamen. The mysteries left behind, and the richness of culture is the inspiration of this scent.
Dendera is an ancient temple, built upon an even older temple only recently discovered beneath its floors. Famous for its "Dendera Lightbulbs" embossed on the walls inside the temple.

Latest Reviews of Dendera
"Dendera" predominantly revolves around the note of myrrh but is gently balanced with sweeter elements. It avoids delving into smoky or off-putting territories, remaining a pleasant and wearable scent. While some have mentioned detecting a hint of skank or funk, the presence of oud here is approachable and amiable. It may not be as universally approachable as some other oud-based fragrances, but it still maintains an agreeable profile.
Although "Dendera" didn't particularly surprise me with its olfactory profile, its quality is undeniably evident. In terms of performance, it delivers an acceptable performance without exceeding expectations. I also had the opportunity to wear "Followed" by Kerosene, and I believe that fragrance might have overshadowed the subtleties of "Dendera." So I’ll have to give it another deeper testing.
On Fragrantica, there's a comparison made to "Dev #2" by Olympic Orchids, but I found "Dev #2" to be more animalic and smoky in contrast. "Dendera" is characterized by clean balsamic spice with delicate ambery undertones, steering clear of smokiness, leathery notes, or herbal elements.
