A little gem from the notorious little italian house. This luxurious and exotic little fragrance from L'Erbolario pays homage to the exotic and dreamy character of the frangipani floral note, evoking serenity and effortless elegance. Frangipani (also known as plumeria) is generally associated with warm climates, far islands, escape and exotic elegance. It has a sweetly luxuriant, vaguely fruity and creamy floral scent. Its fragrance is often described as tropical and softly spicy, with warm, velvety facets that smell both fresh, sweet and sensual. The flower itself is known for its waxy, smooth petals, usually white, yellow, pink or red and for its redolent perfume, which becomes more intense in the evening. Frangipani was launched by L'Erbolario in 2022. This voluptuous fragrance is the result of a deep exploration of joyful emotions, where vibrant and zesty notes of mandarin and bergamot blend harmoniously with the exotic sweetness of frangipani, softened by the sensual warmth of cedarwood and amber. Frangipani is a honeyed ambery floral in the style of Libre Intense by Yves Saint Laurent (2020, definitely a classier and more articulated ambery/fruity/vanillic floral mélange). The general aroma is soothing, multifaceted and luminous. At its heart, a radiant floral accord unfolds, enhanced by a sparkling citrus bouquet, while the rich depth of cedarwood and amber wraps the composition in a comforting, enveloping warmth. The bottle, infused with the many hues of this exotic bloom, reflects the beauty of a fragrance that feels warm, inviting and timeless. Great performances on my skin.
