Ghalia-J is the final product of 5 years of research and revision in the quest to create the perfect Ghalia. More traditional than Collection 2's American Ghalia but far less stuffy and formal than many classic offerings, Ghalia- J is a celebration of wild ouds, roses, musks, saffron, and ambergris set against a backdrop of Arabian leather, and amber incense.

With a distinctly wild Aquilaria Agallocha oud profile, the Sylhet oud used in Ghalia-J was processed to exact specification: Wild wood from exclusively roots was soaked for a modest, but crucial 48 hours in distilled rose water before being distilled at a much lower temperature than typical of the style. Despite the Bangladesh origin, this custom oud mimics the highest quality Assam style ouds of yesteryear.
