Jumps off of the back of my hand and smacks me in the nose with an agressive acrid/aromatic burst of flower...within a couple of minutes it morphs into a sweet/dry woody/resiny orientalish accord...if i inhale-pause-refflect i can smell the tobacco and cognac notes...to me, the BD wizardly touch of being able to blend a vast amount of a wide variety of notes into a fragrance that evolves in accords rather than notes...i can see this being of intterest to lovers of all things tobacco...as the fragrance moves along I seem to sense more tobacco...a driied out in the hot sun dusty sort of feel...nice support from a flower accent that reminds me of a more rugged type of flower from the good old 70-80s fougere/ chypre offerings...nothing offputting about this scent...an office-every occasion kind of vibe...the smell of tea drifts up to my nose...smelling this is a very pleasant experience...as it dries down it gets just a tad sweeter and i get a nice resiny effect with some creaminess and a hint of caramel...i'm not very big on gourmands, but this has just the right little tease that may also make this a nice experience for gourmand fans...
