Habanera fragrance notes
- tobacco flower, leather
Latest Reviews of Habanera
No one so far has mentioned the beautiful sweet lime top note...I think, because the brand does not disclose the notes, they are harder to discern, which makes people mistakenly declare this a simpler fragrance. It isn't. it has phases. And its longevity alone indicates it's more complex than it lets on. I applied this at 7:00, and here it is 11:05, and it's still going strong, with notes of smoky tobacco, leather, and lime... From a dabber/restrictor cap dram. It's impressive stuff.
Also, this brand offers perfume and EDT concentrations in multiple sizes, not to mention candles, soaps, lotions... If you want a vintage-inspired signature, the layering possibilities are endless.
This is one of my favorites from Hové, but there are so many lovely scents in their catalog, I highly recommend ordering a few drams to sample if you enjoy classic/vintage scents.

I Will buy this Tobacconist!

Habanera may not have the delicious aldehydes of vintage Tabac but it sure is rich. It is not nearly as foody or busy as some other scents that try to capture the Cuban cafe scene, but it sure is pleasant. It sits right between Knize Ten and Commodity's Whiskey, if that puts in perspective. Simple and effective.

Hove Habanera
A simple combination of tobacco, leather and vanilla, indeed reminiscent of Knize Ten, but in a much lighter concentration than in that complex classic with its mix of musk, rose, carnation, amber, and castoreum.
Soft touch of sweet tobacco smoke and the whisp of a fine scotch whisky. Very much a skin scent. Perfectly decent as a cologne splash to be worn any time of year. Easier on the wallet than Knize and a good way to begin exploring the tobacco/leather inspired world of men's colognes.

Absolutely great stuff....everybody who lovestobacco, leather and vanilla notes should try this. The little sister of Knize Ten.
beautiful stuff... the tobacco note is prevalent throughout, and there's softer leathery/vanilla notes on the dry down. the scent lingers all day and smells very natural and unsynthetic.
