I think in the Thameen line, some fragrances get more attention than others because they have mass appeal being similar to other high end scents. But to me they always put their own twist on it.

Many claim they get rose out of this. I would have to think they are confusing the pink pepper which can come off rosy. But to me its a very incense and leather based fragrance supported by pepper, resins and the guaiac wood with patchouli comes of smooth with a slight animalistic quality that gives a sense of maturity without screaming "i wear challenging fragrances for sport". Performance is excellent.

I would ignore the Extrait labeling. There really is no criteria of what can be called as such and they make no claims of alcohol percentage nor oil concentration. The best thing to know is that little bottle pushes hard and for a long time. But its not an offensive scent profile. I would call it professional. It makes me think suit and Tie. But I could easily see this being a scent for someone who is more edgy and wears a black leather jacket yet wants to remain smelling classy.

I only own two thameens. But I do plan on exploring the house more. The quality, performance and presentation are all aces IMHO.

Imperial Crown is a pepper and incense sueded leather that gathers strength and smoothness from its base notes patchouli and guaiac woods. Two types of resin incense are blended with two types of pepper and layered over smooth leather mid notes. The patchouli and guaiac imparts a cool masculine personality to Imperial Crown. Thameen fragrances are extremely well crafted works of incense blending. Imperial Crown always smells very good and works well in all climates. I rate it 4.5 of 5 stars
