The opening made me cringe: dumbed-down pink pepper and marshmallow vanilla with tonka and a bit of powdery sparkle, like Burberry Brit with aldehydes instead of the clove. Your basic office lady perfume.

In terms of these tired pink pepper perfumes, the way Style uses soap to tone down what little edge would otherwise be there is pleasant, but trying to be a better version of something so deeply common, basic, and clichéd feels like trying to aim high while actually aiming very, very low - the perfume equivalent of going to McDonalds and getting the “premium” burger made with the same ingredients as the cheap burgers, but on a slightly different bun.

Jil Sander - Style

Opening notes are very strong almost clowing, however do not let yourself misled, because after 15 minutes scent settles down and becomes discreet elegant and classy. I would not classify it as a modern scent, I smell some what of art deco in here, and it is exactly what makes this scent so "charmant"
Sweet but not Too sweet, a bit powdery and above all VERY feminine.
Scent is well done constructed, silage and projection fairlay reasonable. recomend it for a more mature public 25 till 45 years old.

A well put together floral woody fragrance. More woods than florals. The lighter white florals mix with the heavier florals to make for a soft, elegant floral accord. Even though there's no woods listed in the pyramid, it come across as a sweet floral woody fragrance. Lasts long, too. Would work for an office setting if it wasn't so strong. Guys, if you liked Dior Homme, you might like this.
