A wonderful fruity plastic leather, anchored in a clear, floral fougère structure. This intense version amplifies a very subtle "fine mixture of leather and plastics" accord present in the original Jimmy Choo Man. According to press release materials from Belle Magazine, the intense version was also done by Anne Flipo.

There is a beautiful harmonious relationship here, between the seemingly natural and the seemingly artificial. Fans of Kouros Silver may also find this fragrance enjoyable in the same way.

I totally get the melon. So I was smelling this, and was getting tons of Kenneth Cole Reaction. I told the wife it smells like an early 2000s fragrance, with some woody amber base from Invictus. Look up the notes, yep. About right. Honestly, its fast food, but it smells really good. They did a good job.

Basically, if you want an updated Kenneth Cole Reaction, with a more ample base on modern chemicals, this is a fine entry. Decent looking bottle. Its cheap too. I don't think I really want this, but I can see this being a good choice for someone in the market for this type of fragrance.

The initial application is actually really light for me. This is when the melon is most apparent and not by much. After about 20 minutes, lavender really comes in and makes itself noticed. It's probably my least favorite part about this fragrance. It comes across really piercing and somewhat synthetic. But after about 4-5 hours the lavender/geranium note is not as noticable and the tonka bean and patchouli takes over, but mostly the tonka bean. Occasionally, I'll get a whiff of the geranium. I can usually still smell this by the end of the day, up to 8 hours later.

Overall, I get pretty decent performance from this fragrance.

I get no melon.I do get light powder on drydown.Pleasant but weak on me and rather generic-skin scent more or less. Some sillage but only a few inches and then to skin scent. As i said its pleasant but rather meh. Likely a safe office scent for khaki pants and button down shirt kind of guys or suit guys in an office. Thumbs down because i really expected more for the $$ and compared to the 1st jimmy choo. I hope they add more power and something exciting to the next fragrance to set it apart from being so generic.

Jimmy Choo Man Intense has a powdery masculine melon opening. Projection during this time is very loud. Later in the drydown, it's mostly sweet tonka with some geranium to make it interesting. It's all very synthetic but should be very appealing to others in passing.

Again, I get strong projection while it lasts in the first few hours. The longevity is average, maybe 5-6 hours.

This has a lot of mixed reviews, but I love it. I love the mix of lavender, mandarin, and melon, can be a bit powerful at first but the dry down is amazing. The lavender is not overpowering, and the scent is quite complex and does not smell synthetic. It lasts a very long time on my skin at least 12 hours, it is advertised as EDT but is 78% alcohol so it is more towards EDP. It's a nice inexpensive addition to my fragrance collection.
