As mentioned previously, this is a perfume with a lot going on. It's green, slightly sappy, but the sappiness comes from shrubbery, which is nice, but gets overpowered by Muguet. I also smell a very light mellow sweetness, which I always seem to get from rosewood, which is juxtaposed with the brashness of tagettes. I can also smell slight artemisia as well, which is a note I really enjoy.

I just re-read the paragraph above and it is all over the place...I apologize, but I think that is the case with this perfume as well. It is kind of all over the place. Ultimately I would have to say that Labryrinthe Libertin comes across as a unique white floral with green edges with a lot of notes popping in and out for the first hour or so. Not sure if I will wear this a lot, but I will try a few more wears to see if it grows on me...neutral for now.

Imagine a hot early June day wandering in a maze made from boxwood hedges. The sun warms the leaves and the tiny blooms, and what emanates is the approaching summer, exhilarating in their verdant pungency. The redolence of boxwood with the oil in their leaves heated and reminiscent of sharp green citrus and cassis. At the perimeter of the maze grows jasmine and an herb garden with verbena, basil, lovage and parsley. There's a hint of privet in the air as well, a telltale scent of early summer.

Labyrinthe Libertin from the long defunct house Le Prince Jardinier is a unique take on greens, trading the usual galbanum for the shiny, resinous and sappy leaves of bushes and vines among aromatic herbs. One can imagine the dusty, sharp tang of ivy on a stone wall, baked by the rays, as one has a languorous stroll through a sultry dream-state. It slowly transitions into a green-pastel powdered fond, with suggestions of musky cedar. It's a treat especially as the balminess of summer approaches.

A very complex perfume indeed, maybe a little more feminine than unisex, but any man could easily pull it off.
Jasmine is the dominant note throughout the whole development, it hits you from the get go and would not budge, so definetly for jasmine lovers, but the other flowery notes play a fantastic supporting role to the main character. The drydown is good, but nothing out of this world. Longevity is mediocre.
It is a delicate yet complex perfume that would please most people. Does not have the character needed to be a signature perfume, but I bet that if it is in your rotation you will resort to it frecuently.
Although maybe weak, but thumbs up regardless

Lots of stuff going on here but overall it's a light citrus with a herbaceious and floral feeling to it and a tiny bit musky. It comes off as powdery but very, very, very light powder... more like a smooth wood. It's all very light and while it's a beautiful yet complex fragrance, longevity is a huge issue. Spray a little more than usual with this one. I really want to give it a thumbs up but lasting power took a turn for me.

A complex little fragrance. I'm not sure what to focus on here. What I mistook for galbanum turned out to be boxwood leaves or herbs. At any rate, it has a green component, and yet it remains floral in nature. There is some citrus to it, apparently from a rosewood note. No particular flower stands out, but it is like a garden of flowers, airy and plantlike.
