I had a small sample and wore it a few times. It was much better in the rain and on a cooler day (like 50 degrees or so), otherwise it could smell a little like play-doh on my skin. The first time I wore it--not on a cool day, and to work--I got a negative comment about it. That does not usually happen with perfumes I wear to work, so beware because this lasts forever and can project. At its best, it can be a bit incense-y, but at its worst, play-doh and dull.

The opening is unfortunately noxious but it thankfully dries down nicely to cinnamon+clove+caramelized sugar and of course vanilla bean. It's so feminine that not even a metrosexual man could pull it off. Good sillage as well. I can't think of who would wear this, or who I'd want to smell it on. Would be a decent candle scent though? Maybe?

I won't bother repeating what others have already said about this fragrance. I'm glad I finally received my sizeable decant of "Babycat" and had a chance to sample it over the course of many days.

This stuff is just horrid, awful on my skin.

A cloying mixture of LEATHER (I detest this note in fragrances), pepper and olibanum. Harsh, astringent. Cannot imagine wearing this stuff around others. Certainly not on a warm, or hot day. Certainly not as a woman.

I'm glad Babycat resonates with some people. For me, this is an easy pass.

A powdery, slightly earthy vanilla. This is not super sweet cake vanilla. More natural. This is pleasant but it does smell more feminine than unisex to me.

Persistent projection on me, could get cloying during the first hours of wear. Not room-filling but it does have some reach and will get noticed if you spray too much. The drydown is more subtle and intimate.

Longevity is all day long and then some.
