Goes on like sharp bitter herbal European style cologne, refreshing, green, bright, but a bit edged for my tastes, then dries to keep that note, but floating next to yet not blending with the soft warm gourmand base. It’s a weird mix and doesn’t really work on me. The nutty pistachio, made powdery by iris and warm with labdanum just doesn’t work well with the chypre/cologne top notes. It might work better on others, but not on me.
