The company say:
Fragrance in constant motion, the line stretches like a horizon: vast, uninterrupted, yet ever-changing. A surprising fusion of smoky frankincense and lactonic accord combined with bright fruits (pineapple, peach, plum) opens the composition, leading into a heart of pine and heliotrope, evoking landscapes of endless roads and forests. The base is a deep structure of sandalwood and leather accord carrying the scent forward into infinity.
Line 618 fragrance notes

Latest Reviews of Line 618
Hey - would you look at this! Amouage gave us an incense woody amber! We haven’t received one of these from the brand in ages. No - wait - “ages” isn’t the word I meant, is it…? What’s the word I want…? Oh, yes, I meant “yesterday”. I’ll spare you further ranting; read my review of Remain if you want to know where I’m coming from. At least here in Line 618 the incense is very far forward and unrestrained - and served with a big glass of warm and creamy milk!
I like incense. I like milk. I also like curry. I also like cheesecake. I don’t want a curry cheesecake. I don’t want my incense to smell of warm milk or vice versa. It is quite interesting though, but interesting in the way that you might vomit in a toilet while very ill and see something that you didn’t expect to come out of you. The lactones that bowl you over the head in the opening are slightly tempered by a sparkling and waxy peppercorn note. Generally speaking though, it’s incense, fruit, and milk. Line 618 holds the incense line for a very long time after the milk and fruit depart, which I will concede is a very clever handling of pine resins, floral sandalwood, sweet and earthy patchouli, and smoky guaiac. This gives an impression of the incense shifting gears for the dry down rather than presenting a new set of notes. The final skin scent holds to the incense-flecked and vanillic amber typical of most of the recent Amouage releases.
Line 618 is for somebody, and that somebody and I are not likely going to be the types to agree on much. At least we can count on Lorson for the clever handling and excellent balance; she is, at the end of the day, an outstanding perfumer as always. The brand itself did get something right when describing Line 618: endless roads and forests. After about the sixth hour I think I would prefer to crash my vehicle off the road and into one of those trees.
