La Toya MAGNO
This is a provocative men's edt, sadly no longer being manufactured, though the other products in the line (bath gel, shower gel, soap) are still going strong in market sales.
It is dry and sweetly bracing with notes of Tarragon, Pine, Basil, Anise and a deep dark Rose. It is quite masculine without being harsh, bold or powerful.
The product line does manage to all smell the same, although the other items in the line have a required soapiness that is not in the edt.
It is hard to date this, but it does have a good deal in common with the masculine scents of the 1980s, though it is much subtler than the majority of releases during that self-proclaimed power house decade.
This is a real treasure. I was able to secure a 3 ml. sample from an online seller and at this writing know of a full 100 ml bottle for sale in Denmark. It seems to be quite a rarity as although I have used the bath products for many decades, I have not until two weeks ago been aware of the edt.
