Ali AD's review below is spot on. It seems many people understandably confuse this 1986 version of Mila Schon Uomo with a later Mila Schon fragrance also called Uomo.
This Mila Schon Uomo, the 1986 original, is an oakmoss-dominant, spicy green. The note listing is:
Top - Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin Orange.
Heart - Tarragon, Jasmine, Laurel, Sandalwood, Vetiver.
Base - Oakmoss, Labdanum.
As Ali AD states, and my nose verifies, the perfume most similar to this is Francesco Smalto pour Homme from 1987. The Smalto is smokier with a leathery base but otherwise smells like a close relative.
Mila Schon Uomo is a clean green and the combination of the herbs and oakmoss commingle into an under-the-radar 80s fragrance with some 70s sensibilities that doesn't feel in the least bit out of place in late 2023.
The only downside is price. I paid a good few bucks for my 75ml bottle a couple of years ago and a quick check on eBay shows that prices are currently hovering around the $300 range for the 75ml. There's a massive 150ml bottle going for $699!
Whether it's worth that I can't say but disregarding price it is, to me, a really nice fragrance and I'm glad to own it. For what it's worth it is an eau de toilette and alcohol content is 85°. Performance is quite good.

I adore the design of this splash bottle. I never keep empty bottles, but will make an exception here when the time comes.
Mila Schon Uomo is a green freshie of sorts. The strong citrus in the opening lasts only a few minutes. Then it's aqueous, briny, slightly herbal, slightly spicy, slightly woody. Everything is subtle. Definitely clean.
The after shave concentration is too light for my tastes - reminds me of a watered down Orlane Derrick. I'd love to try the EDT, but have never seen it priced below €200. I like the scent, but I don't like it *that* much.
Doesn't project, but lasts a long time on my skin.
Masculinity Level: Jude Law in The Talented Mr Ripley.

Mila Schön Uomo is one of the more atmospheric of 80s floral-chypre-fougere hybrids, where the composition seems to have breathing room in between its notes, and just a tasteful hint of ozonic elements that would very soon reach mach 5 with Cool Water just a couple years later. I detect just the right dosage of dihydro-myrcenol lifting the top notes.
This is a semi-aquatic prelude, with sharp, bracing citrus, lavender and herbs melding in the heart with a pronounced florals of the both the green and white variety, on a bed of piquant black pepper shaded with anisic tarragon. Aqueous cedar woods soon join, with suggestions of violet, getting muskier and somehow more herbal in the dry down.
I took a gamble blind-buying this, but it is more captivating than I imagined; a unique composition for its genre and a real pleasure to wear. It suits this pensive, rainy weather quite nicely.

Reading the reviews here, I can say with almost a 100% certainty that they're based on the latter version of the Uomo and not the original 1986 release.
I have the 86 vintage (as pictured here) and it has an entirely different and much richer scent profile than the new one.
Yes there is a touch of citrus in the opening, but this is an Oakmoss-dominant perfume with a beautiful musk and sandalwood base.
An amazing and underrated old-school scent that does not smell dated at all.
The perfume closest to this would be Francesco Smalto's Pour Homme - yet another sadly discontinued gem from the 80s.

Good. It's a dead ringer for one of my favorite fragrances of all time, Terre d'Hermes. It's just a little bit lighter. A sweet and dirty orange note over a dark peppery woody base of vetiver and musk. Completely masculine. It costs around $25 so if you're on a budget it's a solid alternative. Or, you could throw it in your glove box or leave it at work and keep your nice bottle of TdH at home. I prefer the richness and tenacity of Terre, but this smells so much like it I'm honestly finding it difficult to detect any differences other than strength. Thumbs up.
Note: The Uomo I'm reviewing looks nothing like the one pictured here and may be a revamped release of sorts, which would make sense as it borrows heavily from Terre d' Hermes.

Mila Schon is a nice, hyper-fresh herbal scent smelling of pine, grass, aromatic herbs, citrus (ordinary and synthetic), pepper and juniper on a sort of azure-watery texture (I agree with Darvant for sure on this) with soapy notes of flowers, woods and just something all over that creates a peculiar sense of lunar, green-turquoise abstract cleanliness. Basically it's somehow the same feeling ozonic scents give, but less metallic and cloying, more purely fresh and played on green notes and light spices. The woody accord is basically sweet and discreet sandalwood with just a salty hint of vetiver. Mila Schon Uomo is much close to several conventional young herbal-green-woody fougères, but it has that sort of radiant wateriness that makes is slightly more modern and different. It's a small difference, but it brings this closer to late 90s scents, making it therefore quite innovative for its era. Nothing amazing, as it soon becomes a bit boring and overall the quality of materials smells a bit cheap, yet they did a good job in bringing out the best of them. Not worth any chase, but give it a sniff if you get the chance to.
