If the notes in this fragrance make you think Chypre... I don't know about that technically... but this probably does not smell like you think it would from reading the note breakdown. The notes do comes through distinctly, especially the grapefruit, pepper, rose petals, jasmine, and labdanum, as the blending is not too smooth. However, the main thing to know here is about the salty, marine accord that dominates this fragrance. One could call is a Woody Aquatic, I suppose... The aforementioned accord is present in a number of inexpensive fragrances and it dominates the entire composition here like it does with anything you would smell this in. The only fragrance which I can name, however, that smells similar to this is Atlantic by Bath & Body works. So if you like that one this may be good for you. The fragrance probably presents itself as "smart", but I would call it 100% casual, though it demands attention until it fades. Mountain and its siblings in this line (Bespoke smells similar to me) can be found at rack stores for a modest sum. I would not pay more than $17 for this scent myself. It more suited to cool weather as it very sweet. The projection is quite good but the longevity is not so good (about 3 hours). I give it a Thumbs Up for the price it obtained it at which was about $16. I would pass if presented with a much higher price.
