I'm somewhat puzzled by this one I must admit, but not enough to entertain a more charitable thought about it than: ‘This is ghastly.' A blurry, extremely pitchshifted creation (is that what their superfluidity concept is about?) that I experience more as a leak from an aromachemicals factory than a perfume. Vaguely gourmand in a burnt sugar way, it seems completely out of focus – the woody notes and vanilla are expressed as vapours that seem suggestive of both body lotions and pesticides, which the pasty, mild bitterness of the sesame only reinforces. As for ‘oud', this isn't even trying to do an impression of the stuff.
