Palissandre d'Or by Aedes de Venustas opens with an unusual and unequivocally niche character. Usually used as a base note, ambrette note was placed here in the opening and subtly seasoned with pink pepper, coriander, nutmeg and cinnamon. The effect is initially a slightly peppery, slightly winey and slightly mildewy, intriguing aroma, which gradually turns into a spicy and woody heart.

The quintessence of Palissandre d'Or is an element of depth, which emerges after a few dozen minutes from the application, surprising with its unique beauty of sweet and woody character consisting of excellent quality sandalwood essence from Sri Lanka, patchouli, Copahu balm and three cedar essences (American, Russian and Chinese). The whole blend is cemented and deepened by reliable ambroxan.

Nice dose of Headache inducing Ambrox centres out a mossy almost moldy note, adds a little sweetness and helps extend the drydown. Now, this one, reminds of a quieter Jubilation XXV, with the just opened "bail" of Canadian tobacco.
