HOVE – PLAGE D’ETE
Hove’s offering for the lovers of sun and sand is named Plage d’Ete (summer beach)
and it is a singularly appropriate name. However, don’t expect the Riviera or anything Mediterranean in its approach.
The Atlantic French Caribbean is the reference point for this stunning combination of coconut oil, lemon and soft citrus notes, primarily lime to my nose. It is the inhalation of a pina colada in one hand and a lemonade in the other. Sun tan oil wishes it smelled like this.
As seems to be usual with Hove, their combinations of ingredients are relatively few and simply composed, but they also seem to take things in entirely different directions than one might think. Thus, their creations are singularly novel and unexpected.
Plage d’Ete is another winner from this New Orleans perfumery.
